Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her first fame was her role in Tezaab from the 1980s where she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. The next film she appeared in was Dil which she starred alongside Aamir. In her early years her Mumbai-born dancer started developing her skills at a young age. She ventured into acting as young and fought for several years because the majority of her first film projects were unsuccessful. She eventually found success and became one of the leading actors on the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took an interruption in her career. Later, she returned. She was a key character as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit is nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She also has a reputation for her social activism.
