Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. In his first television appearances Evans portrayed parts such as Opposite sex in 2000. After appearances in a variety of teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has appeared in other films based on comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America is in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019, brought him more acceptance. Within the Marvel universe, the role as Steve Rogers/Captain America made him the top-paid actor in the world.
