Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into a family that was devoted to music. As a child, she was exposed to classical music and old boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing, and she began singing under Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera chamber and choruses. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She has been involved in many local activities, both performer and teacher, because of her love for music and arts. Ana was also a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others while she hopes to spread the desire to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
