Jane Russell

 Jane Russell was an American singer, actress and model. She had a net worth of $40 million at the day of her demise on February 28th the 28th of February, 2011. Most well-known as a bonafide sexual icon in the film industry, Jane moved from the midwest to California for her big breakthrough in her first film role in "The Outlaw" in 1943.Ernestine Jane Geraldine Russell was born on the 21st of June, 1921, in Bemidji, Minnesota. She was the sole daughter of five and the eldest child to Geraldine Russell and Roy William Russell. She had four brothers: Thomas, Wallace, Jamie and Kenneth. Her father was a 1st lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and her mother was an actress part of a traveling troupe. Jane began her piano lessons as a child due to her mother. Jane later became interested in drama and joined Van Nuys High School's stage production team. Jane always wanted to be the next designer, but after the death of her father, who was in his mid-40s, she began working as receptionist. Jane was then able to get into modeling and studying acting and drama with Max Reinhardt's Theatrical Workshop at the urging of her mother.
